'''Kabir Chowdhury Tanmoy''' is a Bangladeshi [[ Columnist]] , [[ Blogger]] , [[ Politician]] , [[ Author]] , [[ Social Worker]] . Born in Champaknagar on July 20, 1982, on the bank of Gomti River near Victoria Government College, in the historically, culturally rich town of [[ Comilla]] near the capital city of [[ Dhaka]] . He was raised in Comilla town with the very own nature and soil of the region. His father Freedom Fighter MA Khaleque Chowdhury, fought against Pakistani occupation army in 1971 in the Liberation War of Bangladesh. His uncle Sujat Ali Chowdhury, was brutally killed by anti-independence Rajakars, whose body was not never found later. Tanmoy got himself involved with so many progressive activities as a successful social organizer and always tried to establish justice and protect human rights in society. Kabir-Mithu/Liyakat-Babu got involved with student politics from their student life. Tanmoy was arrested in much talked one/eleven. The so called care-taker government tried to banish the politics of historic [[ Bangladesh Chhatra League]] (BCL). In that situation senior leaders of [[ BCL]] formed Chhatrakallyan Parishad where Tanmoy worked as organizing secretary and kept active contribution to the root-level politics. Kabir Chowdhury Tanmoy also was the central joint secretary and Comilla District’s unit founder president of Bangladesh Mobile Phone Recharge and Banking Association. One of Kabir Chowdhury Tanmoy’s notable contribution to Bangladesh’s modern history is that he was actively involved with Shahabagh Revolution that demanded the death sentence of the anti-independence Rajakars, war criminals for their anti-humanitarian crimes in the time of Bangladesh’s Liberation War. He also writes in blogs, social media and stand for justice in case of emergency in society. Besides journalism, research and politics, Kabir Chowdhury Tanmoy regularly writes a special column in national and international media. Kabir Chowdhury Tanmoy, in 2013 established Bangladesh Online Activist Forum (BOAF) with a group of progressive writers, bloggers,[ [ researchers ]], journalists and online activists with the ideals of the Father of the National [[ Sheikh Mujibur Rahman ]] . Tanmoy has been holding the post of founder president at BOAF. In the meantime, Tanmoy was elected assistant secretary at the central sub-committee ( [[ Sheikh Hasina]] -[[ Syed Ashraful Islam]] ) of [[ Bangladesh Awami League]] . Besides all these involvement, and activities, Tanmoy is the convener of Sammilito Songram Parishad (an organization of 65 sub organizations against militancy and terrorism), president of Comilla Nagorik Oikya Parishad, chief adviser of Alokito Protibondhi-central committee, adviser of Bangladesh Jatri Kollyan Samity’s central committee, FBCCI’s general body member, member of Sampriti Bangladesh, member of [[ Red Crescent Society]] , Bangladesh-Bharat Moitri Samity’s lifelong member and many more. Kabir Chowdhury Tanmoy’s wife Nazma Akhter Rozy is a [[ researcher]] ,writer besides her business. Tanmoy and Rozy’s daughter Tashfia Kabir Tasneem makes their family a happy one living in [[ Dhaka]] right now. Kabir Chowdhury Tanmoy extracts a book titled 'ITIHASHE BANGABANDHU' signification 'Bangabandhu in History' at the [[ Ekushey Book Fair]] -2020. Contribution to sports:Tanmoy is not a social activist or blogger, he is a sports man and acquired success in different district level clubs in Comilla. He became the best cricketer, badminton player and footballer in his college life.
