'''Sayeed Abubakar''' (born 21 September 1972) is a poet from Bangladesh. He has written twenty eight books including fourteen books of poetry. He has been involved in creative writing for some 30 years.

== Early Life and Career ==
Sayeed Abubakar was born on 21 September 1972 in [[Jessore District|Jashore District]], [[Bangladesh]]. In the nineties of twentieth century he embarked as a poet in [[Bengali]] literature. He is a BCS Education officer in the Bangladesh Civil Service. He obtained his Higher Secondary Education Certificate (HSC) from renowned B.L. College, Khulna and Honours & Master's degrees in English from Rajshahi University. His first book of poems (Pranoyer Prathom Pap) was published in 1996. He has 14 books of poetry to his credit.
