His early vocation for writing earns him a scholarship from Literature which he later leaves to study music at the Poetic World Vocational School, after passing the proficiency exams. ==Career==
He has acted in over 25 movies in Hindi and Marathi languages and is particularly known for the comic roles and perfect timing. In the recently released movie Rege, Pushkar has changed his style. Pushkar Shrotri as the real-life inspired cops give a tough fight to Bajirao Singham in terms of their work and acting prowess.
