'''Giovanni Guaita''' (born November 26, 1962 in [[Sardinia]]) is an [[Italy|Italian]] [[History|historian]], researcher of [[Eastern Christianity]] and [[writer]]. He is an assistant Professor of the [[Moscow Linguistic University]]. He studied in different Western [[Europe]]an and [[Russia]]n ([[Moscow]] and [[St Petersburg]]) [[University|universities]].

He is the author of several books. Three of these books are on the [[Armenia]]n theme. Guaita also known as the compilator of "The vocabulary of Orthodox agiology".
