There will often be famous alumni as well. Most American public high schools remain notable by enwiki standards; I think they can be deleted here.

Why remove such articles? There is effort that goes into maintaining them, which can be better used elsewhere. When someone clicks the random page button, it would be better if they find an article that is actually significant. Also, if not caught in the first few hours, vandalism or promotion will likely remain in such an article unnoticed for years. Better to reduce the scope and better maintain important topics.}}
