Do you mean the '''Novosti''' section on main page?

If I translated string back to English, it'd be "Text $book by author $author is now available on the Slovenian Wikisource.". I used "Text" instead "Book" since we also publish poems, etc. 

The reason I added "avtor/ice" is that Slovene grammar is quite complicated.

Well at first, words can have different grammatical genders, and they behave differently according to that. They have different forms in different situations according to their gender and some other silly factors, so you basically get a few different patterns of grammatical cases for nouns.

So ''avtor'' is male author and ''avtorica'' is female author, and because we need to use akkusativ (4th case) avtor changes to avtorja and avtorica to avtorice. To make all even more complicated to foreigners xD (or easier to type), we usually short avtorja/avtorice to avtorja/ice. It would be even more complicated if you wanted to decline author name and surname. For the same reason you cannot use Wikisource instead Wikiviru (locative of Wikivir).

Prosil bi za pomoč, da se gre skozi nova (mladinska) besedila in nalepi predlogo {{tl|slog}}, kjer manjka naslovna predloga ali oblikovanje in se uporabnika o tem primerno (po e-mailu) obvesti, da z delom še niso zaključili. Še bolje je, da se manjše napake kar odpravi. Poleti si bom nekaj dni, da bom potem pregledal besedila in jih če bodo še vedno neurejena uredil, tista brez osnovnih podatkov o avtorju pa izbrisal. Vidim, da je v predlogo [[Predloga:Naslov|naslov]] nekako prišla obvezna licenca, zaradi katere se privzeto povsod napiše "Pogoji pod katerimi je delo objavljeno niso navedeni! Stran je zato predlagana za izbris". S takšnim načinom je več problemov:
# je res, da je stran predlagana za izbris? Si res upamo kar povprek iz formalnih razlogov brisati koristno delo desetine ljudi, s katerim ni narobe nič drugega kot to, da v času digitalizacije besedila v Wikiviru licenca ni bila zahtevana (na Wikipediji smo enkrat to že počeli s slikami - marsikoga je takrat enkrat minilo veselje do sodelovanja);
# niti izkušenejšim uporabnikom ni takoj jasno, da "pogoji" pomenijo, da manjka <nowiki>|licenca=</nowiki>;
# tudi, če nam to postane jasno, še vedno ne vemo, kaj bi moralo pisati tam, da ne bi bilo povezave na grdo rdečo neobstoječo predlogo - ugibal sem, da "javna last" ali "PD-old", ampak ne.

Pesmi pa sta prevedla še živeča prevajalca in brez njunega privoljenja (ter privoljenja založnikov, ki sta prevode pesmi izdala) pesmi ne bi smela objaviti na Wikiviru. Za prevod velja enaka omejitev kot za izvirno literarno delo, javna last postane šele 70 let po smrti tistega, ki ga je naredil. == Help decide about more than $10 million of Wikimedia donations in the coming year ==

Hi,

As many of you are aware, the Wikimedia Board of Trustees recently initiated important changes in the way that money is being distributed within the Wikimedia movement. As part of this, a new community-led "[[m:Funds_Dissemination_Committee/Framework_for_the_Creation_and_Initial_Operation_of_the_FDC|Funds Dissemination Committee]]" (FDC) is currently being set up. Already in 2012-13, its recommendations will guide the decisions about the distribution of over 10 million US dollars among the Foundation, chapters and other [[m:Funds_Dissemination_Committee/Framework_for_the_Creation_and_Initial_Operation_of_the_FDC#Eligible_fund-seeking_entities|eligible entities]].

Now, seven capable, knowledgeable and trustworthy community members are sought to volunteer on the initial Funds Dissemination Committee. It is expected to take up its work in September. In addition, a community member is sought to be the [[m:Funds_Dissemination_Committee/Framework_for_the_Creation_and_Initial_Operation_of_the_FDC#FDC_Ombudsperson|Ombudsperson]] for the FDC process. == Wikidata is getting close to a first roll-out ==

As some of you might already have heard Wikimedia Deutschland is working on a new Wikimedia project. It is called [[m:Wikidata]]. The goal of Wikidata is to become a central data repository for the Wikipedias, its sister projects and the world. In the future it will hold data like the number of inhabitants of a country, the date of birth of a famous person or the length of a river. These can then be used in all Wikimedia projects and outside of them.

The project is divided into three phases and "we are getting close to roll-out the first phase". The phases are:
# language links in the Wikipedias (making it possible to store the links between the language editions of an article just once in Wikidata instead of in each linked article)
# infoboxes (making it possible to store the data that is currently in infoboxes in one central place and share the data)
# lists (making it possible to create lists and similar things based on queries to Wikidata so they update automatically when new data is added or modified)

It'd be great if you could join us, test the [http://wikidata-test.wikimedia.de demo version], provide feedback and take part in the development of Wikidata. You can find all the relevant information including an [[m:Wikidata/FAQ|FAQ]] and sign-up links for our on-wiki newsletter on [[m:Wikidata|the Wikidata page on Meta]].

== Fundraising localization: volunteers from outside the USA needed ==

The Wikimedia Foundation's Fundraising team have begun our 'User Experience' project, with the goal of understanding the donation experience in different countries outside the USA and enhancing the localization of our donation pages. I am searching for volunteers to spend 30 minutes on a Skype chat with me, reviewing their own country's donation pages. It will be done on a 'usability' format (I will ask you to read the text and go through the donation flow) and will be asking your feedback in the meanwhile. 

The only pre-requisite is for the volunteer to actually live in the country and to have access to at least one donation method that we offer for that country (mainly credit/debit card, but also real-time banking like IDEAL, E-wallets, etc...) so we can do a live test and see if the donation goes through. ''All volunteers will be reimbursed of the donations that eventually succeed'' (and they will be low amounts, like 1-2 dollars)

Predlagam izbris strani, ki temeljijo na [[Wikivir:Posebna dovoljenja za objavo/arhiv]] in [[:Kategorija:Posebna dovoljenja za objavo]]. Dovoljenja so neveljavna, ker uporabniki niso bili opozorjeni, da nepreklicno dovoljujejo uporabo svojega dela v vsak namen, predvsem pa licenca, pod katero objavljajo gradivo, v njihovem privoljenju ni bila izrecno zapisana. Vsebina bi morala biti izrecno dana v uporabo pod licenco CC-BY-SA 3.0 ali z njo skladno. Poleg tega gre za zasebno korespondenco in osebne podatke; po zakonu je za njihovo objavo na internetu treba pridobiti soglasje. :Strinjam se z možnostjo, da so posamezni avtorji dali dovoljenje za objavo brez pravega poznavanja licence na Wikiviru in da so ravnali morda v nasprotju z željami založnikov, če so ti oz. kadar so ti kupili avtorske pravice za nadaljnje objave. Vendar zaradi takih primerov nikakor ni pametno brisati kar vseh dovoljenj po vrsti, čeprav so z vidika pravne pameti nepopolni. Z brisanjem bi pravzaprav nasprotovali avtorskim izrecno izraženim željam, da so njihova besedila tudi na Wikiviru, proti čemur bi se smeli avtorji, če bi bili sitni tako kot pravniki, upreti tudi s pravnimi sredstvi. Vidim dve rešitvi problema: 1. dopolnitev oz. obnovitev dovoljenja, da bo držalo kot pribito pred še tako togim preganjalcem javno dostopnih informacij, 2. brisanje licence in teksta samo v tistih primerih, kjer pride do zakonsko utemeljene pritožbe. Ker šolskega projekta, pri katerem so študentje od avtorjev pridobivali dovoljenja, po moji vednosti ni več, entuziasta, ki bi ponovno zvonil na vratih avtorjev ali njihovih vdov, pa tudi ni na vidiku, prvo rešitev dajem v oklepaj in predlagam ravnanje, kot je opisano pod točko 2. K taki drži me nagovarja temeljna filozofija Wikipedije in sestrskih spletišč glede odnosa do avtorske lastnine, ki v perspektivi nadomešča veljavno restriktivno avtorsko zakonodajo in so ji tudi avtorji (v nasprotju z založbami) čedalje bolj naklonjeni. Tega seveda ne počnemo na silo in v konfliktu s copyrightom, vendar tudi v samokastracijskem strahu pred morebitnimi kršitvami ne. Wikipedija nima nobenega razloga, da bi se v tej zadevi obnašala bolj papeško od papeža. Za citirano "zasebno korespondenco in osebne podatke" Petra Svetine lahko od avtorja, ki ga poznam, hitro dobim dovoljenje, da ostane, kjer je, oz. jo v nasprotnem primeru zbrišem. ::Spoštovani, vaše mnenje je sicer razumno, vendar se morate zavedati, da to gradivo gostuje na strežnikih fundacije Wikimedia. Materialno in kazensko niste odgovorni samo vi kot administrator tega projekta, temveč tudi in predvsem njeni predstavniki, prav tako so moralno in pravno odgovorni do svojih podpornikov, ki prispevajo finančna sredstva za delovanje tega projekta. Poleg tega je jasno, da morajo za vse uporabnike (npr. za vse sodelavce vseh wikivirov) veljati enaka pravila. Iz naštetih razlogov sem odločno proti izigravanju gostitelja in širše skupnosti, saj se mi zdi nepošteno in neodgovorno. O odločitvah lahko razpravljamo samo v mejah, ki jih določajo resolucije fundacije, npr. [[wikimedia:Resolution:Licensing policy]], [[wikimedia:Privacy policy]], [[wikimedia:Data retention policy]] itd. Za širše spremembe uredniške politike bi bil potreben konsenz na drugi ravni, ne na tej strani. Vrnjena dovoljenja nikjer izrecno ne omenjajo, da avtor dovoljuje uporabo svojega dela za kateri koli namen ali izpeljana dela ali da se avtor strinja s pogoji ene ali druge licence. Večinoma tudi ni nobenega razloga, da bi res lahko verjeli, da so dovoljenja dali avtorji. Naša dolžnost je, da poskrbimo, da so prišla dovoljenja s pravega naslova oz. dejansko od imetnika pravic; tudi OTRS postopek npr. zahteva natančno preverjanje e-naslova, podobno tudi 'license review' slik s Flickra ipd. v Commons. Prav tako ni bilo nikjer dano soglasje za objavo e-naslovov in drugih osebnih podatkov imetnikov avtorskih pravic.
