Habar Je'lo is one of the three main Isaaq(إسحاق) clans. They are comprised from three of Shaykh Is-haaq's sons, namely: Muusa, Mohamed and Ibrahim binu Is-haaq. It is also one of the most prominent clans in the history of East Africa. This clan used to be known by other Somali clans as the Fox of the East. They mostly live in the eastern parts of the self-declared state of Somaliland, the main city of somaliland and majortiy habarjeclo is Burco(Togdheer) Erigavo(Sanaag)Berbera(Sahil)and Sool(laascanood).........

In general. Habar Jeclo comprises of the off-springs of three of Sheykh Isaaq's sons, namely Muse, Ibrahim and Mohamed binu Is-haaq.While this tree clans all claim habar jeclo, the largest lineage which is about 90% of habar jeclo is Muse binu Is-haaq There are many families and subclans within the Habar Jeclo clan. Some who are larger than other, and other that are very prominent in overseas country but less so in Somaliland. for example the descendents of Musa make up four large groups, which in turn go down to even more and more families.The three largest habar jeclo are believed to be the Ba'iido subclan of the Musa Abokor and the Ahmed Farax subclan of the Mohamed Abokor lineage, while the Reer Yoonis subclan of the Musa Abokor are also very numerous.In Somaliland the Mohamed Abokor, Samane Abokor, Sanbuur and cibraan settle among themselves in Togdheer Region,  while the Muse Abokor is more concentrated in the Sool region and Sanaag  Region. Notable members of this prestigious clan include the current President of Somaliland, '''Ahmed Mohamed Mohamoud "Silanyo"''' (Somali: ''Axmed Maxamed Maxamuud Siilaanyo'', Arabic: احمد محمد محمود سيلانيو‎) (born 1936 in Burao) is a Somali politician. He is a longtime member of government, having served as Minister of Commerce of Somalia, among other Cabinet positions. During the 1980s, he also acted as Chairman of the Somali National Movement.
