[[Biggest Loser]] produceras i Sverige av [[Meter Television]]. Den första säsongen var en skandinavisk samproduktion av och sändes i [[Sverige]] under [[hösten]] [[TV-året 2005|2005]] på [[Kanal 5]] och bestod av tre lag med 18 deltagare från [[Sverige]], [[Norge]] och [[Danmark]]. [[Martin Björk]] var programledare och den svenska coachen var Pauline Nordin. == Säsong 1 (2005) ==
Inspelningen ägde rum på [[Kalvi slott]] i [[Estland]]. Till finalen kom Pernille Sloth Nielsen från [[Danmark]], Morten Salbu från [[Norge]] och Rooy Rodriguez Ramirez från [[Sverige]], i finalen tävlade man om 500 000 kronor. Vinnaren av Biggest Loser 2005 blev Rooy Rodriguez Ramirez. Laget från Norge var det lag som hade gått mest ner i vikt och fick dela på 250 000 kronor.
