*I have taken part in three all India meet-ups (First Wiki Conference India, 2011 & CIS-A2K 2015) and four Internet-Tamil workshops. And also one International Tamil conference.
*Why I am contributing to these kind of projects is because of my friends. Especially I want to thank Mr. Ravi. Before that I contributed irregularly with hurdles.
*I usually get trained by various friends and made few changes in [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:CSVLoader CSV loader (AWB)] & pywikibot script. Then [https://ta.wiktionary.org/s/6us8 trying to create, simplified tools like the google uploder] & [https://ta.wiktionary.org/s/4oyd edit buttons], for Indian Wiktionaries.
===The need===
*As a sysop in outreach.wikimedia; ta.wikipedia; ta.wiktionary; Commons(file mover, AWBbot). I am in a position to get mobile gadgets like Laptop, internet dongle, Google Chromecast HDMI streaming media player (In most schools, a projector is not available).
*Mainly i am focusing on [https://ta.wiktionary.org/wiki/%E0%AE%B5%E0%AE%BF%E0%AE%95%E0%AF%8D%E0%AE%9A%E0%AE%A9%E0%AE%B0%E0%AE%BF:%E0%AE%A4%E0%AE%AE%E0%AE%BF%E0%AE%B4%E0%AF%8D%E0%AE%A4%E0%AF%8D_%E0%AE%A4%E0%AF%82%E0%AE%A4%E0%AE%B0%E0%AE%95%E0%AE%AE%E0%AF%8D_%28Wiktionary:Tamil_Embassy%29#IIW-_Integration_of_Indian_Wiktionaries Indian Wiktionaries integration] and Tamil outreach programmes. Through my outreach in TamilNadu, i understand that I have to learn various contributing methods & tools of both Windows OS & linux distros. Then only, i can reach more people for Wikimedia. During my workshop, I usally tell the simplification about the open source tools. Forthat, i run dual OS at a time. (Ubuntu as host OS + Windows on Virtualbox + Wikimedia Anroid Apps editing)
*And also, when i discuss with FOSS programmers, i want to record their demanstration as screencast. Then i do video editing for outreach or further discussion or to upload in Commons.
*So, I need well configured Laptop with 4-6 RAM & 2MB cache.
