Louis began playing piano at the age of three and violin at the age of four. She sings in church choir during childhood and then discover her love in music. She express her talent in singing, dancing and playing piano and violin. She also loves art include drawing and painting. Louis attended [[James S. Bell Junior Middle School]] in Toronto, Ontario and graduated at grade 8 at the age of fourteen. She later attended [[Leaside High School]] at grade 9, where she was a performing art student, participating in chamber choir, dance troupe and drama club. She received many awards in visual arts which was her main focus and top subject in high school. Louis described her first high school life "very lonely" and "quiet". She cited that she was very shy and people rarely pay attention to her due to her quietness, so she rather hangout by herself in the Library or in the Music room to play piano. After Louis graduate high school she studied Bachelor Of Drama in Revlon University with [[Meester Shay]]. They wrote a play together called ''[[Princess T-ara (TV series)|Princess T-ara]]'' for their drama assessment and performed it on theater. The director Avan Liu watched their play and it made Liu impressed by her acting skills with Shay and the story line. Liu then became interested to make the play as a film, Louis and Shay agreed to his contract. The film making of the play was cancelled due to the low financial of the crew and then later changed it into drama series. Louis refused to be cast in the series as well as Shay but Avan Liu encouraged them to be in the cast and Liu believes that they would "become a star" and the story line "would be hit". The play then officially became as a drama series which it aired on XLR8 network on July 21 2012. Louis then signed a contract with Shay to pursue their acting career. The series rated 10.3 and it was referred as the third best series in 2012. Princess T-ara nominated in Best Drama Series at XLR8 Star Awards 2012. After ''Princess T-ara'' ended on November 20 2012, Louis rose to fame with Shay and received a recognition from media, also gained a lot of fans. Louis graced on the cover of Best Friend magazine  with her buddy Shay to promote themselves. The song was first debuted on ARIA Singles Chart, peaked at number 13 in Australia. She performed the song for the first time on Music Net on March 2, 2016. Louis appeared as a guest role in the show "Pretty Girls" episode 50 in 2016, where she potrayed a character named Rainbow. The second single "[[Cheated (Trisha Louis song)|Cheated]]" featuring Skanks, was released on August 21, 2016. The song  peaked at number 8 Canadian Hot 100 in Canada. ==Early life==

Meester Rita Shay was born on September 9, 1993, in Los Angeles, California. Shay grew up singing and dancing at the young age. She studied dance competitively in ballet, jazz and hip hop since the age of five until the age of sixteen due to her injuries. Shay attended [[Fairfax High School]] in Los Angeles where she graduated in 2011 at the age of eighteen. [[Trisha Louis]] was her high school bestfriend and who was an international student from Canada. They both express their passion in music which they started singing covers on YouTube. Thereafter, Shay then learned how to play piano, inspired by Trisha Louis and then took piano lesson. Shay also did a school talent quest with [[Trisha Louis]] and was a member of a school choir in high school. Shay immigrated in Dynamite, Barbia and attended Revlon University. Shay wrote a play with [[Trisha Louis]] called ''[[Princess T-ara (TV series)|Princess T-ara]]'' for their drama assessment, while attending Revlon University together and the play were later performed on theater by Louis and Shay. The director Avan Liu watched their play and it made Liu impressed by their acting skills and the story line. Liu then became interested to make the play as a film, Shay and Louis agreed to his contract. The film making of the play was cancelled due to the low financial of the crew and then later changed it into drama series. Shay and Louis refused to be cast in the series but Avan Liu encouraged them to be in the cast and Liu believes that Shay and Louis would "become a star" and the story line "would be hit". The play then officially became as a drama series which it aired on XLR8 network on July 21 2012. Shay then signed a contract with [[Trisha Louis]] to pursue their acting career. The series rated 10.3 and it was referred as the third best series in 2012. Princess T-ara nominated in Best Drama Series at XLR8 Star Awards 2012. ''Everlasting'' enjoyed immense popularity both locally with a peak rating of 30.6%, and internationally, having over one billion views on the American various streaming website. It has been referred as the second successful drama series of Shay, since she starred on her last drama series ''Inspiration'' which was on of her most successful work. The final episode of ''Everlasting'' ended on November 20, 2016. Shay won the Cube Awards 2016 award for Favorite Actress from ''Everlasting''. She was also nominated along with Leon Erin for Best Kiss. In November of 2016, Shay announced that she will be returning to music, which she worked with the producer William Millie for her second album ''[[Bad Chick (Meester Shay album)|Bad Chick]]'' which was released on August 8, 2017.
