==Early life/ Dark Days==
Ghobril suffered a lot during childhood. He was sexually assaulted by his former soccer coach in 7th grade. This is when he turned to singing to try to forget about this incident. After a while, Ghobril turned to basketball to take out his anger and now he excels in both.
==High School==
Ghobril attended John F. Kennedy High School in Sacramento, California. This is when his singing career and basketball career took off. He met Asian American rap star Lil' Tokyo, Andrew Ng, and future basketball Hall of Famer James Chow.

Lil' Tokyo helped introduce Alex to rapping. A few months later, Ghobril released the song " TK Baby" ft Jerrod Voong.
==Basketball==
Ghobril initially got cut from his freshmen team in high school but with hard work and determination, he played Varsity his next 3 years. While in high school, Ghobril got drafted into the NBA D-League by the Maine Red Claws but ultimately decided to sign with the Bakersfield Jam to a one-year $5,000 deal.
