امپلس کنٹرول ڈسارڈر وہ نفسیاتی جالت ہے جس میں انسان کو اپنے اندر کے محرک پر قابو نہیں رہ پاتا۔ اس کی عامات میں بےحد زیادہ کھانا، بےحد خریداری کرنا، بےحد جوا کہیلنا،بابیکاری اور بار بار کی نقل و حرکت کرنا اور اپنے بال بار بار نوچنے کع بابیکاری وغيرہ شامل ہے۔
ٹھہکبکات سے يہ معلوم ہوا ہے کہ امپلس کنٹرول ڈسارڈر کا شادی شدہ زندگی پر منفی اثر پڑتا ہے۔ <ref name=“Lejoyeux”> Lejoyeux, Arbaretaz, Mcloughlin and Ades(2002).Impulse Control Disorders and Depression. The Journal of Nervous and Mental Disease.190(5), 310-314</ref>۔ ایک تحقیق ک مطابق امپلثو افراد ک فرنٹل اور پری-فرنل کارٹیکس میں گلوکوس کا استعمال صحتمندافراد ک مقابلے میں ک ہوتا ہے۔<ref name=“Raj”> Raj R, Sidhu BS (2011).
