According to the [[United States Census Bureau]], the township has a total area of 93.18 [[square kilometer|km&sup2;]] (35.96.2 [[square mile|mi&sup2;]]).  89.391.9 km&sup2; (345.5 mi&sup2;) of it is land and 3.82.0 km&sup2; (1.50.8 mi&sup2;) of it is water.  The total area is 42.123% water.

The racial makeup of the township is 97.878.90% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 0.2900% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], 0.5200% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 0.4063% [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]], 0.090% [[Pacific Islander (U.S. Census)|Pacific Islander]], 0.1200% from [[Race (U.S. Census)|other races]], and 0.472% from two or more races.  0.7200% of the population are [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race.
