According to the [[United States Census Bureau]], the township has a total area of 82.293.1 [[square kilometer|km&sup2;]] (31.85.9 [[square mile|mi&sup2;]]).  81.29.3 km&sup2; (31.44.5 mi&sup2;) of it is land and 1.03.8 km&sup2; (0.41.5 mi&sup2;) of it is water.  The total area is 1.234.12% water.

The racial makeup of the township is 98.067.87% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 0.3029% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], 0.52% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 0.2240% [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]], 0.009% [[Pacific Islander (U.S. Census)|Pacific Islander]], 0.172% from [[Race (U.S. Census)|other races]], and 0.732% from two or more races.  0.6972% of the population are [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race.
