The name Tedius Zanarukando is pronounced SHAY-zhee-uhs tsuh-nah-ryoo-KAHN-doh. The "t" and "d" in Tedius is very soft, in order to prevent confusion with the word "tedious." His real name is David Odis Hill. Tedius Zanarukando is a descendant of Adolphus Cheek and Martin Poole, who fought in the Civil War. His maternal ancestors were farmers.
