'''Purple Dragons''' or '''Purple Dragon Gang''' is a fictional street gang in the [[Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles]] series. The gang is from the [[East Side]] in [[New York City]].

Purple Dragons is the toughest street gang on the East Side and in every version they appear, the turtles fight them in the first issue. The [[1984]] TMNT comics is the only TMNT version where the Purple Dragons not work for the [[Shredder]]. In the [[1987]] TMNT cartoon series and the Archie TMNT adventures comics, the turtles save the Channel 6 news reporter [[April O'Neil]] from a gang with [[Bebop_(Ninja Turtles)|Bebop]] and [[Rocksteady_(Ninja Turtles)|Rocksteady]]. The gang is sent out by the Shredder and the name of the gang is never told, but is supposed to be the Purple Dragons. In the [[2003]] TMNT cartoon the gang leader of the Purple Dragons is [[Hun_(villain)|Hun]]. The pPurple dDragons never appeared in the movies.
