Tung-Wang was a [[Buddhist]] [[monk]] who lived roughly 1200 years ago. He has compiled a number of stories (long and short) that have been translated. His most famous work was the story "[[The Cucumber Sage]]" a short-story about a monk that came to his care and tought many people the meaning of being a true buddhist monk. Some of his stories are based upon personal experiences, others are made up, but all have an underlying theme or moral to be told.
