With the help of [[Murtagh]] and [[Saphira]])., Eragon is reunited with [[Murtagh]], but he runs into and fights [[Durza]].escapes and rescues the elf ([[Arya Dröttningu|Arya]]). Before they are safely away, they encounter a [[Shade]], [[Durza]]; Eragon fights a losing fight with it until Murtagh apparently kills Durzait with an arrow, and they escape with the elf.
