Ingredients for preparation

onions Medium Sized :3 nos cut into medium sized pieces
Urad Dal (split and husked black gram): 2 Tsp
Red Chilli :2 nos
Tamarind juice : 1 Tbsp 
Ginger Garlic paste :1Tsp
oil :2 tsp
Salt: To Taste

Curry Leaves : 10 
Mustard Seeds :1 tsp 
Coriander Leaves : 1 TBS, finely chopped

Preparation Method

Chutney
Heat oil in a wok or a frying pan and add the urad dal and fry till it is golden brown , then add all other ingredients fry for 5 minutes till thy are cooked.then allow it to cool to room tempaerature, then grind in a blender to make a fine paste.Now the main chutney is ready.
to garnish the chutney heat 1 tbsp oil to the frying pan add mustard seeds,wait till they splutter.then add curry leaves and remove from heat.Add this garnish to chutney and mix well, add coriander leaves before serving.
This pungent,mouth watering chutney will go will with Idli, dosa, chapati and all breads.
