Richard Kent has coached for 16 seasons in the collegiate ranks of American football. He earned 
hisa Bachelor of Science degree from [[Appalachian State University]] and Master's degree from [[Clemson University]]. While coaching in college Kent's teams achieved 2 FBS Bowl Games and 5 national playoffs. From 1991-2000 he helped his teams to a record of 88-25-1. Kent has since coached Professional Football in [[NFL Europe]], the [[Canadian Football League]] and [[United Football League (2009–2012)|United Football League]].
