If you're willing to explain yourself, I may remove it. While we're on the subject of people being overly defensive, ''please'' don't drag out the old saw about how there's no such thing as a neutral point of view because everyone has past experiences that dictate their beliefs, etc. Everyone has heard it, and nobody is buying it.

*Editors who argue and argue and argue until faced with a fact they can't refute, and then simply leave the conversation or change the subject. Why is it so hard for people on the Internet to say, "I stand corrected" or [gasp!] "I'm sorry"? I see them editing afterwards, so I know they haven't left the project or committed seppuku out of shame. Why can't they suck it up and apologize? If pride gets the better of you on Wikipedia, you're in for a hell of a time in real life. 

These issues rarely get the better of me, but it's a constant struggle. If I've offended you through words or deeds, and you see yourself on this list (be honest) then at least you can take some small comfort in the fact that it's nothing personal; you just fit a certain stereotype, and I was having a bad day. I try to take Wikibreaks when I feel that sort of thing happening, but if I failed to do so please don't hesitate to leave me a message and I will gladly discuss my transgression(contracted; show full)[[Category:Agnostic Wikipedians]]
