*I recently decided to focus more of my Wiki-time on creating articles for places near me that are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. My main focuses are [[List of Registered Historic Places in Orange County, New York|Orange]] and [[List of Registered Historic Places in Rockland County, New York|Rockland]] Counties, and I will be adding photos over the next several weeks as weather and time allow. 
* Because I know a thing or two about the subject, I sometimes work on USMC and military history-related articles. I'm especially interested in the history of military memorials.
* I'm a big fan of [[Douglas Preston]] and [[Lincoln Child]]'s books. I also love [[Sherlock Holmes]] (anything by [[Sir Arthur Conan Doyle|Doyle]], actually), [[Nero Wolfe]], most [[Jules Verne]], [[Hercule Poirot]], [[Stephen King]]'s stuff from back when he was still good, [[Caleb Carr]]'s historical fiction, and nonfiction on [[Freemasonry]] and modern politics. 
* I smoke [[Camel (cigarette)|Camels]] and drink [[Rolling Rock]], [[Jim Beam]], and [[Fuller, Smith and Turner|Fuller's London Pride]] (when I can get it).
