'''''Story''''' is a the second greatest hits, fourth live, and sixth studio album by American pop rock band River Stumpf and the Spooner Brothers set to be released as a 2 disc compilation compact album and boxset on January 6, 2016 through Interscope and Pop Eclectic in the United States and Canada and through Polydor worldwide. Disc one consists of 18 singles, disc two consists of the band's live studio performance from their Apple Music Festival concert, and disc three consists of 6 brand new tracks. The album is named after it's lead promotional single "Story", which was released on November 6, 2015. It follows-up the band's previous studio album, ''V'' (2015).

===Background===

The songs "Story", "The Way I Was", and "Losing My Mind" were originally recorded throughout the recording sessions for their self-titled debut album (2006) in 2005. "Miss You Love You" and "Figure It Out" were originally recorded during the recording sessions for the band's sophomore studio album ''Oxygen'' (2008) in 2007. "Until You're Over Me" and "Infatuation" were recording during the recording sessions for their third album, ''Last Chance'' (2011) in 2010. All songs were reworked and remastered throughout the months of August and September of 2015.
