Farnsworth is entirely unable to feel pain. She once bit through her lip, and didn't notice. She also was in a car accident, which resulted in her getting up and asking "what's going on?" She only had minor injuries.

It is not known whether Farnsworth actually needs to sleep. She once went three days without sleep and she had none of the usual symptoms of not sleeping. Nevertheless, she takes sleeping pills so she can sleep six hours a night.
